The Programme Objectives of M.Tech (CS) are:
- Professional Practice: To engage in professional practice that promotes the development of innovative systems and optimized solutions in Computer Science and Engineering.
- Adaptability and Ethics: To adapt to different roles and responsibilities in a multidisciplinary working environment while upholding professionalism and ethical practices within organizations and society at national and international levels.
- Skill Enhancement and Research: To enhance skills and adopt new computing technologies for professional excellence and to undertake research.
Programme Outcomes (POs)
The M.Tech (CS) programme is designed to prepare graduates to achieve the following Programme Outcomes:
- Problem Analysis: Ability to identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex problems, reaching substantiated conclusions using principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
- Research and Design: Ability to use research-based knowledge, research methods, and advanced algorithms, including the design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of information to provide valid conclusions.
- Societal and Environmental Impact: Ability to assess the impact of computer-based solutions in societal and environmental contexts and demonstrate knowledge of information technology for sustainable development.
- Ethical Practice: Ability to adhere to ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities in accordance with engineering practice norms.
- Teamwork and Leadership: Ability to function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, demonstrating leadership traits and capabilities in multidisciplinary settings.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written technical reports.
- Lifelong Learning: Ability to recognize the need for and engage in independent, lifelong, and interdisciplinary learning in the broadest context of technological change.
