Over 19 years of diverse teaching and research experience in the field of Computer Science and Engineering specializing in Mathematical Modeling of Problems before their translation into Computer Algorithms. I have exceptional understanding of the problems in the domains of Probabilistic Machine Learning and Mathematical Models for Software Reliability Studies. My love for Mathematical Modeling of software solutions, makes me highly relevant research-wise for the development of cutting-edge algorithms/ models for real-world automation problems. I am the pioneer of Data Science & Artificial Intelligence programme in the University of Kashmir. With the able administrative vision and acumen of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, have successfully got introduced/started a 5-year Integrated Masters programme in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence (5-YIMPDS&AI) during the year 2024 in the capacity of the Head of the Department. Furthermore, I have the honor of having got the nomenclature of the M.Tech (Computer Science) changed to M.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering) after a series of meetings with the Deans and the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kashmir. In the capacity of Head of the Department, I have the honor of being part of the high-powered committees for the development of Statutes for the 5-YIMPDS&AI offered at the Department of Computer Science, UoK. I have been providing my experiential acumen for helping the Department and the University achieve a place on the national & international academic pedestal. Besides, I have been instrumental in providing my expert opinions for augmenting the vision, innovation, support, strategic planning and consultancy for the University of Kashmir. My research credentials and expertise have led to introduce a new course title “Software Reliability Engineering” in the curriculum of M.Tech (Computer Science).
